Dr. Onyewuchi C. Asinobi is the pioneer Managing Director/CEO of Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Ltd. He joined The Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1990 and served as the Branch Manager of the Nigerian Stock Exchange in Port Harcourt, Nigeria between 1991 – 1993. He was seconded to the Central Securities Clearing System Ltd, a subsidiary company of The Nigerian Stock Exchange as the pioneer Chief Operating Officer (COO). The CSCS is the Clearing and Settlement House of The Nigerian Stock Exchange.
He was the Chief Operating Officer for 4 years before he was appointed the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CSCS Ltd on December 11, 1997. A position he holds till date. Dr. Asinobi is a member of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Institute of Directors, Nigeria (IoD) and a fellow, Institute of Capital Market Registrars (FICMR) amongst others.
He obtained a B.Sc (Hons) degree from Southern University, Baton-Rouge, Louisiana, USA and MBA from Jackson State University, Mississippi, USA. He won the graduate Marshall honour given to the best graduate student in Jackson State University. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He has attended several overseas courses, conferences and won awards in the management and operations of clearing, settlement and depository systems including Stock Exchange Management Systems. He also attended Harvard Business School in Boston, USA in 2004. He has won numerous Humanitarian and Christian awards too numerous to mention.
In April 2007, he was invested into the Sacred Order of The Knighthood of St. Christopher by His Lordship, The Rt. Revd Cyril C. Okorocha, Ph.D (Lord Bishop, Anglican Diocese of Owerri), Imo State Nigeria
He is married with two sons and he enjoys reading, watching soccer, playing lawn and table tennis games. He is a devout Christian and cherishes doing God’s work
Mr. Egunbiyi, Peter Adebayo is the General Manager (Operations) having served as the Head, Computer Department for over six years. He holds a B.Sc (First Class) hons in Computer Science from University of Ibadan. He also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Before joining the CSCS Ltd, in September 1995, he had started his Information Technology (IT) career with NCR Nigeria Ltd (now Plc).in 1988 and was opportuned to have a three months IT exposure in Dayton, Ohio, USA. He later joined B-S Computer Services where he worked with several corporate clients like Total, AP, NNPC, Central Bank of Nigeria, UBA etc engaging in IT set up, software development, conversion and training. He later joined Cooper and Lybrand in 1992 to acquire international consulting experience. While there, he assisted in the automation of Bank Reconciliation and cash book systems for Nigerian Airways, Fixed Asset for NITEL, he has attended several courses both in Nigeria and overseas.
Mr. Dafur is a General Manager/Head of Finance and Administration of the CSCS Ltd. He started his accounting career in 1982 when he joined the services of the Nigerian Mining Corporation as an Assistant Accountant. He rose to the position of a Principal Accountant before leaving in 1993 to join the services of the New Nigerian Development Company Ltd (NNDC). He was Principal Manager/Head of Internal Audit of the NNDC before joining the CSCS Ltd in 1997. While in the services of the NNDC, he represented the company on the council of The Nigerian Stock Exchange, Kaduna Branch for three years. He was also an Audit Committee member of the Trade Bank Plc for two years. He is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria. He also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
Mr. Joe Mekiliuwa holds a B.Sc Degree in Computer Science from the University of Benin, Benin City, Masters degree in Computer Science (M.Sc ) from the University of Lagos and Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State of Nigeria. He is also Chartered Stockbroker (ACS), Professional Member - Computer Society of Nigeria, Full Member - Chartered Nigeria Institute of Management, He has attended several professional courses and seminars such as: Data Base Adm. , Sybase Educational Progrm, San Diego, California, USA, 2001. Joe started his working career with Management and Computer consultancy firm before joining Abbey Building Society (mortgage Bankers) as Head of Computer Dept. He thereafter joined fine Homes Mortgage Bank also as head of computer. He left Fine Homes for Globe Computers Ltd as project manager where he principally worked with North West Waters (UK) in the computerization of Lagos State Water Corporation before joining CSCS Ltd in early 1997. Mr. Mekiliuwa is one of the pioneer staff members involved in the design of forms and implementation of the system. He is currently a Deputy General Manager and Head, Computer Department.
Pauline Onyeka Onyenwe (Mrs.) started her formal management career in Ivory Merchant Bank where she undertook several banking courses during her six years stint with them and left as a management staff in 1995. Thereafter, she became the head of Finance and Administration Department of Global Internet Computers Company Ltd until she left in 1997 to join the Central Securities Clearing System Ltd as a Manager and rose to the current position of Deputy General Manager/Head Depository Department.
Mrs. Onyenwe holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Aston University, UK and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) England after having acquired Diploma/Certificate in Marketing and Administrative Management courses, which broadened her managerial scope and equipped her for her responsibilities in CSCS Ltd. She has undertaken several management, stock market/custody related and computer operations courses, seminars and workshops both locally and internationally to date.
She has interest in writing, reading, cooking, music, counselling and social work.
Mr Austine Obinna Ene started his professional career in Computer Warehouse Group (CWG) in 1996. In the course of his 11 years service to the Computer Wraehouse Group, he served in various capacities some of which are: Senior software Engineer, Senior Pre-sales and solution Architect, AGM and eventually GM of the ExpertEdge Business unit. While in ExpertEdge, the software subsidiary of the company, he made remarkable impact. He developed the first commercial application sold and deployed for enterprises.
Austine was among the pioneer team of CWG that were trained on Finacle Banking Application. He led several banking Application integration projects for top Nigerian Banks including UBA and FBN.
Austine Ene Was a seasoned Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Consultant for several years with specialization on ORACLE and SAP. He spent almost a year on Internship with Infosys Technologies in India supporting her client base world-wide.
Austine is a computer Science graduate of University of Nigeria Nsukka. He is also an alumnus of the Prestigious Lagos Business School LBS.
He joined Central Securities Clearing System Limited (CSCS) in 2008 and currently heads the Digital Centre of the organization as an Assistant General Manager (AGM).
